How it may relate

For some people, chemicals, minerals, or disinfectants can be drying or irritating. They may notice skin feels tight after showers, or hair feels rougher and more breakage-prone. Minerals can also leave spots/scale on fixtures and appliances, and can even affect food taste.

Why Pay Attention

U.S. and global health agencies note that certain substances in drinking water—when elevated—may pose risks over time. For example: Lead (harmful even at low levels), Arsenic (strict guideline), TTHMs (linked to increased cancer risk at high levels over long periods), and Chromium-6, for example, has a very low public-health goal in California because of cancer concerns.”

I’m Daniil

Pro athlete, twice top-10 globally. I obsess over performance at home. When we improved our water care, showers felt less drying—and personally I noticed fewer episodes of heartburn. That’s my experience; everyone’s different, and we don’t claim medical outcomes.
